Daily rules pick or hedge high‑octane ETFs (oil, natural gas, 3× semis) using RSI gates, simple momentum pairs, and volatility‑aware sizing. Shifts to volatility or bond hedges in stress. Multiple uncorrelated sleeves aim to reduce drawdowns.

Each day it first checks if markets look stretched using RSI (a price “speedometer” showing when moves are unusually hot/cold). If not stretched, it rides short‑term trends in fast movers: oil (USO/SCO), natural gas (UNG/BOIL/KOLD), 3× semis (SOXL). If stress rises, it cuts risk, uses hedges (VIXY/VIXM, USD, Treasuries TMF/TMV), and sizes smaller when volatility jumps. Several uncorrelated sleeves run at once to smooth the ride.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
