About
A hybrid strategy that combines core stocks, rotating tech, defensive hedges, and a smaller trend-following sleeve that shifts among leveraged stocks, bonds, the dollar, and commodities.
This strategy mixes three ideas:
1) a steady stock core in Costco and UnitedHealth,
2) a rotating tech basket that picks 3 of 5 big tech stocks based on which have been moving the most lately, and
3) a defensive basket that picks 4 recent winners from hedges like gold, bonds, commodities, energy, staples, and healthcare.
It also keeps a smaller tactical sleeve that shifts between leveraged US stocks, long-term bonds, the US dollar, and commodities based on which assets have had the strongest medium-term trends.
A diversified hybrid strategy balancing core stocks, rotating tech, hedges, and a tactical sleeve. Out-of-sample: ~17.7% return, 14.1% max drawdown, Calmar ~1.26, delivering lower downside with strong risk-adjusted performance vs the S&P 500.
