About

Rules-based portfolio with a large cash cushion that rotates among Nasdaq, Treasuries, commodities/oil, gold, U.S. dollar, energy, staples, and semiconductors using simple trend and “hot/cold” gauges, hedging or moving to cash when conditions worsen.
NutHow it works
It keeps a big cash/T‑bill cushion, and spreads the rest across rule‑based sleeves. Each sleeve asks: is price in an uptrend (above a long‑term average)? and is it “hot” or “cold” (RSI = a simple heat/pace score; high=too hot, low=washed‑out). If trends look healthy it rides strength (mainly Nasdaq); when weak or too hot it shifts to Treasuries or cash, or hedges. It also rotates into commodities/oil, gold, the U.S. dollar, energy, staples, and semiconductors.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this rules-based, multi-asset strategy delivers superior risk-adjusted returns vs the S&P: higher Sharpe (2.11 vs 1.22), lower drawdowns (4.3% vs 18.8%), and solid capital preservation with a large cash cushion across regimes.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
