About

A daily, rule‑based portfolio that rides strong trends (often in 3x tech and long Treasuries), but quickly hedges with volatility or cash in panics and can pivot to dollar, commodities, or market‑neutral sleeves when stocks weaken.
NutHow it works
Each day the strategy checks two things: trend lines (moving averages) and a simple “hot/cold” meter (RSI from 0–100). If stocks look healthy, it rides growth funds (often 3x tech). If fear spikes or bonds weaken, it shifts to T‑bills, hedges (volatility or short funds), or trending oil/commodities. It reopens risk when fear cools. Examples: TQQQ/TECL (3x tech), TMF/TMV (3x long/short US 20‑yr bonds), VIXY/UVXY (volatility hedge), SHV/BIL (T‑bills).
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic, rule-based strategy shifting among tech trends, bonds, volatility hedges, and commodities to defend in panics and reduce risk. While OOS results show higher drawdowns vs SPY, it adds crisis resilience and diversification to a core S&P 500 allocation.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
