About

A high-risk switcher among 3x stock ETFs. If Nasdaq looks washed out, buy 3x tech. If the market looks overheated, buy a 3x inverse in the hottest area. Otherwise, own the two best 3x trend leaders (semis/small caps/S&P/Nasdaq).
NutHow it works
Goal: ride trends but fade extremes using 3x stock ETFs (very high risk). RSI = a 0–100 “heat meter” of recent moves. 1) If Nasdaq’s 14‑day RSI ≤28 (very cold), buy TECL (3x tech). 2) Else if S&P’s 5‑day RSI >68 (very hot), buy one 3x inverse fund (SQQQ/SPXS/SOXS), choosing the weakest over ~3 months (bet on pullback). 3) Otherwise, buy the top 2 trend leaders over ~3 months from SOXL (semis), TNA (small caps), UPRO (S&P), TQQQ (Nasdaq), split 50/50. Rebalance on changes (~7% drift).
CheckmarkValue prop
3x-ETF rotation strategy targeting tech leadership and regime shifts. Out-of-sample: ~17.8% annualized return with Calmar 0.36 and Sharpe 0.58 over 920 days. Potential tech-driven upside vs S&P, but with higher drawdowns and volatility.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
