About

A rule‑based, high‑octane strategy that rides tech uptrends (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL), but flips to short (SQQQ/PSQ), volatility (UVXY), managed futures (KMLM), or short‑term bonds (BSV) when signals weaken. Uses trend and “hot/cold” signals (RSI).
NutHow it works
Trend check: If TQQQ (3x Nasdaq‑100) is above its 200‑day average = risk‑on; else risk‑off. Risk‑on: ~80% to UVXY when short‑term heat is extreme (RSI>~79; RSI is a 0–100 “hot/cold” meter); otherwise TQQQ if SPY’s recent gains beat KMLM (managed‑futures), or PSQ (short Nasdaq). Risk‑off: Try oversold bounces in TECL/SOXL (3x tech/semis); else pick SQQQ (3x short) or BSV (short‑term bonds) by strength; else SQQQ if oversold, or TQQQ/KMLM by SPY vs KMLM.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample results show superior risk-adjusted returns vs SPY: Sharpe ~1.20 vs 0.97, Calmar ~2.43, and ~69.9% annualized return vs ~17.7%, with diversification from UVXY/KMLM/shorts. Note higher drawdown risk (~28.8%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
