About
Rule-based, risk-on/risk-off rotator using a turbo Nasdaq fund for trend, RSI as a hot/cold gauge, and a managed-futures fund as a filter to switch among leveraged tech longs/shorts, volatility trades, bonds, managed futures, or a defensive blue-chip basket.
It rotates one holding at a time. First it checks if a turbo Nasdaq fund (TQQQ) is above its 200‑day average (uptrend) or below (downtrend). It then uses RSI—a simple “hot/cold” meter (high=stretched up, low=stretched down)—and a trend check on KMLM (a managed‑futures trend fund) to choose: leveraged tech longs/shorts, volatility trades (UVXY/SVXY), short‑term bonds (BSV), KMLM itself, or a low‑risk LLY/NVO/COST/GE mix.
Out-of-sample edge: a one-position rotation using trend/RSI/futures filters delivers superior risk-adjusted returns vs the S&P 500—about 96% annualized, Sharpe ~1.53, Calmar ~3.18, via diversified regime exposure.
