About

An aggressive, tech‑centric switcher that uses a heat gauge (RSI) and trend lines to rotate among 3x long tech, 3x short tech, volatility (UVXY), bonds (BSV), or some cash, aiming to ride uptrends and trade bounces in downtrends.
NutHow it works
Tickers: TQQQ=3x Nasdaq‑100; SQQQ=3x inverse; TECL=3x tech; SOXL=3x semis; UVXY=volatility (spikes on fear); BSV=short‑term bonds. RSI is a 0–100 heat gauge; moving averages are trend lines (200‑day long‑term, 20‑day short‑term). If TQQQ is above its 200‑day, hold mostly TQQQ unless very hot (RSI>79), then UVXY, keeping ~20% cash. If below, buy sharp dips (TECL/SOXL). If weak (below 20‑day), choose SQQQ or BSV by recent strength; else TQQQ.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe 1.67 vs 1.14; Calmar 2.82; annualized return ~132% vs ~19% for SPY. Tech-heavy, rule-based rotation with hedges targets big uptrends while controlling risk—though drawdowns can exceed SPY.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
