About
An aggressive market-timing strategy that jumps among leveraged tech funds, a volatility fund, an inverse tech fund, and short-term bonds based on whether big tech looks strong, overheated, oversold, or weak.
This strategy uses TQQQ (a turbo-charged bet on big U.S. tech stocks) as its market “thermometer.”
If tech is in a strong long-term uptrend, it usually buys TQQQ. If that rally looks too hot too fast, it switches to UVXY, which tends to jump when markets get shaky.
If tech is in a weaker trend, it looks for sharp selloffs and tries to buy the bounce using TECL or SOXL. If conditions stay weak, it either bets against tech with SQQQ or hides in short-term bonds (BSV).
Tech-driven, tactical strategy offering higher out-of-sample upside: ~38.7% annualized vs SPY 17.7%, Calmar ~1.07 (risk-adjusted). Be aware of higher potential drawdown (~36%) than SPY.
