About
A mostly stock-based portfolio focused on big tech, healthcare, defense, and steady everyday businesses, with a small bond position and monthly rebalancing.
This portfolio is a preset mix of mostly big U.S. companies and a few baskets of similar companies. It leans heavily toward technology, but also adds healthcare, defense, everyday consumer businesses, and a small amount of long-term U.S. government bonds.
Once a month, it resets each holding back to its target size—selling a little of what grew too much and buying what fell behind.
Out-of-sample edge: higher risk-adjusted returns than SPY. Sharpe ~1.45 vs 1.30; annualized ~17.50% vs 16.54%; Calmar ~1.93. Drawdown ~9.07% vs 8.89%, yet stronger upside from a tech/health/defense tilt with monthly rebalance.
