About

A fast, rules‑based portfolio that rotates across tech, emerging markets, bonds, gold, and real estate, flipping between leveraged long, inverse, Treasuries, or a VIX hedge using trend and RSI. Rebalanced daily. Very aggressive and high risk.
NutHow it works
Splits money into 5 buckets and checks them daily using two signals: trend (200‑day average) and heat (RSI = short‑term overbought/oversold). In uptrends it holds 2x–3x bull funds; if too hot it briefly parks in a VIX hedge (UVXY). In downtrends it flips to bear funds or Treasuries. Uses: TQQQ/SQQQ (Nasdaq ±3x), UPRO/SPXL/IVV (S&P), TMF/TMV/TLT (Treasuries), UGL/GLL (gold), DRN/DRV (REITs), EDC/EDZ (emerging), BIL/SHV (T‑bills).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this flexible, rules-based strategy shows higher risk-adjusted performance than the S&P 500: Sharpe ~1.55 vs ~1.41, Calmar ~2.89, and annualized return ~75% vs ~29% (SPY). Expect higher drawdowns but far greater upside and diversification.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
