About

A five-bucket, golden‑ratio weighted portfolio that rotates among leveraged bull/bear funds in stocks, bonds, gold, and real estate using simple trend and overbought/oversold signals, with a small cash anchor.
NutHow it works
Five buckets (42/26/16/10/6%) in stocks, bonds, gold, real estate, cash. It watches trends (price vs 50/200‑day averages) and a “heat gauge” called RSI (high=overheated, low=sold‑off). In uptrends it holds bull funds; when overheated or weak it shifts to hedges or bear funds, or Treasuries/cash. Tickers: TQQQ/SQQQ=3x Nasdaq; UPRO/SPXL=3x S&P 500; TMF/TMV=3x long/short 20‑yr Treasuries; UGL/GLL=2x long/short gold; DRN/DRV=3x long/short REITs; EDC/EDZ=3x long/short emerging markets; UVXY=volatility; BIL=T‑bills. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~43% annualized return vs ~34% for the S&P, beta ~0.91, Calmar ~1.83. Higher upside with controlled risk via diversified, trend-driven rotations across stocks, bonds, gold, REITs, cash, with hedges.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
