About

A rule-based “all-weather” system that rotates among aggressive tech, cash/bonds, volatility hedges, commodities, and dividend/value based on trend, overbought/oversold readings, and interest-rate signals. Goal: ride uptrends, buy real dips, and protect in storms.
NutHow it works
It watches three dials: trend, fear, and interest rates. In calm uptrends it leans into tech/semis (often using 3x ETFs). If prices look stretched, it hedges or parks in T‑Bills. If prices look washed out, it buys dips. When fear spikes, it hides in cash, bonds, or volatility hedges. Falling rates? Own long Treasuries. Rising rates? Avoid/short them and favor the U.S. dollar. It also rotates into commodities and dividend/value when growth lags.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this all-weather strategy offers stronger risk-adjusted returns than the S&P: lower drawdowns (≈15.2% vs 18.8%), Sharpe ~1.28, Calmar ~1.44, and ~21.9% annualized return vs ~24% for SPY, with lower market beta.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
