This strategy constantly checks whether markets look calm, stressed, overheated, or beaten down. When conditions look good, it often leans hard into aggressive tech and semiconductor funds like TQQQ or SOXL. When warning signs appear, it shifts into safer holdings like short-term Treasury funds, the U.S. dollar, gold, commodities, or funds that rise when stocks fall. It makes these decisions using simple gauges of recent trend, recent damage, and whether prices have moved too far too fast.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
