About

A fast, rules-based allocator. Under stress it parks in T‑bills, USD, gold/commodities and hedges; when trends are healthy, it presses semiconductors/Nasdaq with 3x ETFs, using simple “heat” and trend rules to buy dips and fade rips. High risk.
NutHow it works
It’s a rules-based “switch.” It watches fear (volatility), bond stress, and price trends. If stress rises, it hides in T‑bills (BIL/SHV/SHY), the U.S. dollar (USDU), gold/commodities (GLD/PDBC), or “short” funds (SQQQ/SOXS/TBT). If calm, it goes aggressive in semis/Nasdaq via 3x funds (SOXL, TQQQ), using simple “heat” scores (RSI) and moving averages to buy dips and fade spikes. A small gold/bond/dollar hedge runs in the background.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy yields ~30.9% annual return vs ~21.0% for the S&P, Sharpe ~1.57 vs ~1.21, drawdown ~8.3% vs ~18.8%, Calmar ~3.71—delivering higher risk-adjusted growth and strong downside protection through regime-switching risk controls.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
