This strategy constantly checks whether markets look calm, overheated, panicky, or unstable. In strong markets it often buys aggressive tech and semiconductor funds. When conditions look dangerous, it shifts toward cash-like Treasury funds, gold, the U.S. dollar, commodities, and funds that rise when stocks or long-term bonds fall. It makes these decisions using short-term trend and stress signals like recent momentum, recent drops, and volatility.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers.
