About

An aggressive, rules-based mixer: ride tech/semis in calm uptrends, but hedge fast with VIX funds or move to T‑Bills when markets look “too hot” or fearful. In rough markets, rotate to bonds, gold, dollar, managed futures, or even short the market. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
It reads market “temperature” using trend and RSI (a 0–100 speedometer for how stretched prices are). When uptrends look healthy, it rides them with 3x tech/semis funds (TQQQ, TECL, SOXL). If things look overheated or fear rises (VIX), it quickly hedges with UVXY/VIXY or parks in T‑Bills (BIL/SHV). In risk‑off regimes it rotates to bonds (TLT/TMF), gold (GLD), US dollar (UUP), managed futures (KMLM), or inverse funds (SQQQ/SPXS). Very active and risky.
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic, rules-based strategy that rides tech uptrends, hedges with VIX or T-Bills when risk rises, and rotates to bonds, gold, USD, or managed futures in downturns. Out-of-sample results show stronger downside protection and steadier upside vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
