About

A fast, tactical, high‑risk system that flips among VIX hedges (fear funds), leveraged tech dip‑buys, shorts, and cash/treasuries using short‑term hot/cold signals, a 200‑day trend filter, and a cross‑check versus KMLM (managed futures).
NutHow it works
Big picture: it watches if stocks are hot or cold using short‑term streak gauges and a 200‑day trend line. When things run too hot, it buys crash insurance (UVXY/VIXY—funds that jump when fear spikes). When they’re cold but the long trend is up, it buys the dip with 3× tech/semis (TQQQ, SOXL). If the trend is down, it moves to cash/T‑bills or uses short ETFs. It also uses KMLM (a managed‑futures ETF) as a reality check.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample tested, this strategy aims to beat the S&P 500 on a risk-adjusted basis by riding tech rallies with leverage, hedging crashes with VIX, and avoiding drawdowns with trend filters and a KMLM cross-check.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
