About

A daily, tech‑tilted tactical strategy: ride uptrends with leveraged Nasdaq (TQQQ), step aside or hedge when markets overheat or weaken, and rotate into cash or Treasuries when bonds lead. Uses RSI, moving averages, and quick crash/overheat brakes.
NutHow it works
Each day it picks offense or defense. Trend: if the S&P 500 is above its 200‑day average, it prefers offense (own TQQQ—3× Nasdaq‑100). If below, it shifts to cash‑like T‑bills (BIL/SHV), Treasuries (TLT/IEF/BND), or hedges. Heat gauge: RSI (0–100). High=too hot → VIXY/cash. Low=washed‑out → buy dips (TQQQ/TECL/UPRO). Big 1–6 day swings trigger temporary hedges. It also favors bonds/cash when bonds outpace stocks.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return: 61% vs 21% for S&P; Sharpe ~1.224; Calmar ~1.50. Significantly higher upside with risk controls, but max drawdown ~41%. Best for tech-growth investors who accept volatility for bigger gains.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
