A monthly rebalanced, leveraged take on the classic 60/40 portfolio: mostly U.S. stock funds and U.S. Treasury bond funds, with much of the exposure coming from 3x leveraged ETFs.
NutHow it works
This is a turbocharged version of a classic “60% stocks / 40% bonds” portfolio. Every month it resets to: 60% stock funds and 40% U.S. Treasury bond funds. But most of each side uses funds that try to move about 3x as much each day, making the portfolio much more aggressive than a normal 60/40 mix. Stock side: QQQ/SPY plus leveraged versions TQQQ/UPRO. Bond side: TLT/IEF plus leveraged versions TMF/TYD.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
