About

If SPY’s short‑term heat gauge (RSI) goes above 70, move to short‑term Treasury ETFs (BIL/SHV). Otherwise, go all‑in on SOXL, a 3× leveraged semiconductor fund. Very concentrated and volatile; timing‑based risk‑on/risk‑off approach.
NutHow it works
It watches SPY (a fund of the 500 biggest U.S. stocks). It checks a 10‑day “overheated” gauge called RSI (0–100; higher = price ran up fast). If RSI > 70, it parks money 50/50 in BIL and SHV (cash‑like U.S. T‑bill funds). Otherwise, it puts 100% into SOXL, a fund targeting 3× the daily move of U.S. chipmakers like Nvidia and AMD.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, the strategy targets strong upside (~39% annualized vs SPY ~16.8%), with solid risk-adjusted metrics (Sharpe ~0.86, Calmar ~0.51). A growth accelerator as a satellite sleeve—expect sizable drawdowns in chop.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
