This strategy constantly asks two questions: 1) Does the market look too overheated? If yes, it buys SQQQ, which is a strong bet that big tech will fall. 2) If not, does a risky area like tech, chips, energy, or the S&P 500 look beaten down and ready to bounce? If yes, it buys a very aggressive fund tied to that area. If signals are mixed, it compares tech to KMLM, a crisis-friendly trend-following fund, and becomes more defensive if KMLM looks stronger.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
