About

Own a diversified, non‑mega‑cap stock basket when the S&P 500 is trending up; otherwise sit in short‑term T‑bills. Inside the basket, steadier stocks get larger weights and bouncier ones smaller. Rebalanced daily.
NutHow it works
Each day, it checks if SPY (the S&P 500 fund) is above its 200‑day average price (typical price over ~10 months). If yes, it buys a preset basket of stocks across energy, utilities, healthcare, staples, and industrials. Calmer names get bigger slices (based on last ~50 days); choppier ones get smaller. If SPY is below that trend, it parks in BIL (1–3 month T‑bills). Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy guards capital in down markets via BIL and captures upside in uptrends with a diversified, lower-vol basket and inverse-vol sizing—delivering stronger risk-adjusted returns vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
