About

Daily contrarian picker: evenly buys the 4 ETFs that dropped the most over the last 2 days, expecting quick rebounds. Universe is mainly 2x/3x bull/bear tech, semis, S&P, plus long Treasuries and cash-like bonds. Very aggressive and high-turnover.
NutHow it works
Each day it scores 13 ETFs on a 0–100 “recent selling vs. buying” measure over the last 2 days (lower = just fell more). It buys the 4 with the lowest scores and splits money evenly, then repeats the next day. The funds are mostly 2x/3x bull/bear tech (Nasdaq-100), semis, S&P 500, plus long Treasuries and cash-like bonds.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ≈19.1% vs SPY ≈20.3%, with diversification across tech, semis, rates, and cash-like assets and a mean-reversion rotation. A sleeve to a pure S&P 500 core, offering diversification and potential upside in volatility.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
