About

A daily, tactical, high‑octane mix: hedge with VXX when markets get hot, buy 3x tech/semis on deep dips, and switch between tech and managed‑futures (KMLM) leadership. Separate bond/gold/oil/EM sleeves. Very active, uses leveraged/inverse ETFs; high risk.
NutHow it works
Daily check of momentum using RSI (a 0–100 “speedometer” of recent price moves: high=hot/overbought, low=cold/oversold). If stocks—esp. tech—run hot, it hedges with VXX (a VIX‑futures volatility note) or shifts to diversifiers. If they’re very cold, it buys rebound trades (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL/UPRO). Between extremes it compares tech to KMLM (a managed‑futures ETF that often shines when stocks struggle): if tech leads, stay long; if KMLM leads, go defensive (shorts/BTAL/bonds). Separate sleeves time bonds, gold, oil, and EM; T‑bills are the fallback.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe ~3.04 vs 2.47, Calmar ~11.65, annualized ~88% vs ~29%, beta ~0.56. A dynamic, volatility-hedged mix of tech and diversifiers delivering higher risk-adjusted growth than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
