About

A daily, rules‑based strategy that rides strong tech trends, but quickly hedges or rotates to bonds, commodities, or cash when markets overheat—guided by RSI, VIX, and a cross‑check against KMLM. Includes a small, momentum‑gated Bitcoin sleeve.
NutHow it works
Each day it asks: are stocks hot or cold? If tech/semis are strong (RSI high) and the market trend is up, it holds leveraged tech (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL). If things look overheated, it adds a VIX hedge (VXX) or shifts to gold/commodities. It also compares stocks’ momentum to KMLM (managed‑futures): if KMLM leads, it cuts tech and uses shorts/defensives or cash. Separate sleeves time Treasuries (TMF/TMV), trade oil/gas, and add Bitcoin (GBTC) only when its own momentum is positive.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe 2.95 vs 2.47, Calmar 10.3, and ~66% annualized return vs ~29% for the S&P. A diversified, momentum-driven strategy that captures tech upside while hedging with VIX, bonds, and cash.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
