An aggressive all-weather trading mix that chases strong stock trends, but quickly shifts into hedges, bonds, cash, commodities, or Bitcoin when markets look overheated or unstable.

This is a fast-moving “switching” strategy. Each day it checks whether stocks look too hot, too weak, or healthy using recent price-move gauges. If markets look strong, it often buys aggressive growth funds like leveraged Nasdaq, tech, semiconductors, or S&P 500 funds. If markets look overheated or shaky, it can rotate into volatility bets (VXX), Treasury funds, cash-like T-bills, commodities, or bearish funds. It also compares stock strength to KMLM, a managed-futures fund that often holds up better in messy markets, to decide when to stay bullish and when to defend.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
