About

Own Apple most of the time. If Apple has surged 25%+ in the past 10 days, temporarily move to a short‑term T‑bill fund (BIL) to take profits and reduce risk, then switch back once that short‑term surge fades.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks how much Apple’s price changed over the last 10 trading days. If the gain is under +25%, it holds Apple. If Apple jumped +25% or more, it moves to BIL, a fund holding very short‑term U.S. Treasury bills. It rechecks daily and switches back when the surge cools.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: 13.6% annualized vs S&P ~19.2%; higher drawdown (33.4% vs 18.8%); Sharpe 0.55 vs 0.98. A disciplined Apple-centric sleeve that shifts to cash after big rallies—use as diversification, not a core market bet.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
