About

A simple monthly rotation in mega-caps: pick 4 recent winners from big tech (~6‑month trend) and 4 from defensive mega-caps (~10‑month return), split money 50/50, and equal-weight the 8 stocks. Aims for strong returns with manageable drawdowns.
NutHow it works
Once a month it holds 8 giant, familiar companies and splits money 50/50: - Tech: from Apple, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Nvidia, Broadcom, Oracle, ASML, TSMC, buy the 4 with the strongest ~6‑month trend. - Defensive: from big healthcare/staples/finance names (e.g., J&J, Merck, Eli Lilly, Coca‑Cola, Pepsi, P&G, Costco, Walmart, Visa, Mastercard, Berkshire, Bank of America), buy the 4 with the best ~10‑month return. All positions equal-size. A cash-like fallback (SGOV) is defined but never used.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample return ~254% vs SPY ~199% (≈28% higher), with a low beta (~0.25) and Sharpe near the S&P. 8 mega-cap picks, monthly rebalance — simple, diversified exposure with stronger upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
