Once a month, the strategy splits money into two halves. One half goes to big technology companies and buys the 4 that have been performing best over roughly the last 6 months. The other half goes to large, steadier companies like healthcare, consumer brands, and payments, and buys the 4 that have done best over roughly the last 10 months. It then spreads money evenly across those 8 stocks.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers.
