About

Daily, it rotates among VIXY, TQQQ, SVXY, SPY, or BTAL using simple “heat” (RSI) and trend checks. Hedge with VIXY when overheated, buy dips with TQQQ when washed out; otherwise short fear or own SPY in calm markets, or go defensive with BTAL.
NutHow it works
Each day it holds one ETF. - If QQQ or SPY are very “hot” (RSI, a 0–100 speed‑of‑gains meter, >80), it buys VIXY (tends to jump when fear spikes). - If QQQ is very “cold” (RSI<30), it buys TQQQ (aggressive tech rebound). - Otherwise: if SVXY (benefits when fear falls) is above its 21‑day average, it holds the stronger of SVXY or SPY by recent 20‑day trend; if not, it holds BTAL (defensive). Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Volatility-aware tactical overlay for diversification and hedging. Out-of-sample returns are negative (~-10.7% p.a.) with ~16% drawdown, so use as a small diversification sleeve, not a substitute for the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
