About

A daily risk-on/risk-off system: hedge with UVXY/EDZ when markets look overheated, buy URTY when washed out, ride the strongest of SVXY/QQQ/SPY/TQQQ/UPRO when calm (SVXY uptrend), or default to BTAL when not. Uses leveraged, high‑risk ETFs.
NutHow it works
Daily, it checks simple “hot/cold” gauges (RSI) on QQQ/SPY. If very hot (>80), it turns defensive: if QQQ is hot, buy UVXY (rises when fear/volatility jumps). If SPY is hot, split UVXY and EDZ (-3x emerging markets). If very cold (<30 on QQQ), go aggressive with URTY (3x small caps). Otherwise, if SVXY (benefits from calm markets) is above its 21‑day average, buy the single strongest of SVXY, QQQ, SPY, TQQQ (3x QQQ), or UPRO (3x S&P). If not, hold BTAL (long low‑risk, short high‑risk).
CheckmarkValue prop
Volatility-aware, regime-driven strategy designed to complement the S&P 500: hedge spikes with UVXY/EDZ, ride calm-market leaders with leveraged ETFs, and use BTAL for defensive diversification and tail-risk protection.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
