About

Daily trend+momentum. Uses SPY’s 200‑day trend and a short‑term “hot/cold” score (RSI) to switch among TQQQ/UPRO/TECL (leveraged stocks), TMF (3x Treasuries), UGL (2x gold), SVXY/UVXY (volatility), and PSQ/SQQQ/SPXS/TYO/BTAL (inverse/defensive).
NutHow it works
Each day it checks if the S&P 500 (SPY) is above its 200‑day average (a long‑term trend line). If yes, it rotates among aggressive stock funds, long bonds (TMF), gold (UGL) and volatility funds (SVXY/UVXY) using RSI, a 0–100 “hot/cold” gauge. If no, it favors inverse funds (PSQ, SQQQ, SPXS, TYO) or BTAL.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~22.2% annualized vs SPY ~23.3%, but with broader diversification across stocks, bonds, gold and volatility. A regime-aware, rules-based approach that complements SPY and adds risk‑management through multi‑asset momentum.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
