About

A timing-heavy, all‑in strategy: fade overbought markets with UVXY, buy oversold dips in leveraged tech/semis/S&P, else rotate between short‑volatility (SVIX) or a low‑vol mix (KMLM, UUP, FTLS, Treasuries). Very high risk and whipsaw‑prone.
NutHow it works
It’s an all‑in switcher. If many indexes/sectors look “too hot” (RSI very high), it buys UVXY (tends to jump when stocks drop). If not, and volatility is hot, it parks in VIXM or a stock fund. If things are calm, it buys sharp dips in leveraged tech/semis/S&P. With no dip, it rotates between SPYU or SVIX (short volatility), or a steadier mix led by KMLM (managed‑futures), UUP, FTLS, and Treasuries.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe ~1.93 vs S&P ~1.14; Calmar ~8.7; far higher annualized return. A volatility-aware, timing-driven strategy that shifts among UVXY, VIX proxies, leveraged beta and futures for stronger risk-adjusted growth and better drawdown control.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
