About

A daily-rebalanced, 3x leveraged ETF rotation: if 60-day BIL beats SPY, invest 100% in UDOW+UGL; otherwise invest 100% in UPRO+TQQQ. It uses a simple bond-vs-equity signal to switch between a Dow+Gold mix and a S&P+Nasdaq mix.
NutHow it works
Every day the strategy checks how short-term bonds (BIL) have performed against the stock market (SPY) over the last 60 days. If BIL >= SPY, it goes into the Dow+Gold levered pair (UDOW and UGL). If SPY > BIL over 60 days, it switches to the SP500+Nasdaq levered pair (UPRO and TQQQ). It allocates 100% of capital to the chosen pair and rebalances daily to maintain exposure. The exact split between the two assets in a pair isn’t shown, but many setups use equal weighting.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~50% annualized return with ~30.7% max drawdown and Calmar ~1.62, vs SPY ~21% return and ~18.8% drawdown. A disciplined 2-scenario, 3x-levered ETF rotation for stronger upside with solid risk-adjusted performance.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
