About

Daily switch using a 60-day cash-vs-stocks test. If cash beats stocks, hold 3x Dow + 2x Gold. Otherwise hold 3x S&P 500 + 3x Nasdaq-100. Equal split. Extremely high risk due to leveraged ETFs and daily resets.
NutHow it works
Each day it compares the last 60 days return of BIL (short-term T-Bills, a cash proxy) to SPY (S&P 500 US stocks). If BIL >= SPY, it splits 50/50 into UDOW (3x Dow blue-chips) and UGL (2x Gold). Otherwise it goes 50/50 into UPRO (3x S&P 500) and TQQQ (3x Nasdaq-100, big tech). Rebalanced daily. Very high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~50% annualized return vs ~21% for SPY, with Calmar ~1.62. Regime-switching between leveraged equities and gold targets much higher upside in uptrends and protection in pullbacks—though drawdowns (~30%) exceed SPY’s.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
