About
A daily, rules-based “super-safety” allocator that rotates among stocks, Treasuries (long or short), commodities/energy, and VIX hedges. It buys dips, trims when markets look overheated, sizes by inverse volatility, and often parks in T‑Bills when risk spikes.
Every day the rules check if markets look hot or cold using simple gauges (trend vs average price; RSI, a “too hot/too cold” meter). If stocks look overheated, it adds VIX hedges or parks in T‑Bills. If they look washed out, it buys tech or long Treasuries. It rides oil/gas/agriculture only when they trend up (and flips to inverse if they trend down). It sizes calmer sleeves larger (inverse‑vol) and rebalances daily.
Diversified, rules-based strategy with low beta (~0.61) and built-in hedges. OOS return ~26.1% vs SPY ~27%; Calmar ~4.71. Strong risk control with VIX hedges and T-bills improves diversification and dampens drawdowns.
