About

Bear‑market parking: hold ~87.5% cash and ~12.5% in TQQQ (a 3× Nasdaq‑100 fund—big tech like AAPL, MSFT, NVDA, GOOG). Simple short‑term trend/drawdown checks; keeps a small stake for rebounds while aiming to cap losses.
NutHow it works
This is a safety mode. Each day it parks most money in cash and keeps a small toe‑hold in a very fast (3×) Nasdaq‑100 fund, TQQQ. It runs quick checks on recent performance and recent drops; with only TQQQ in the list, those checks rarely change anything. Then it splits with cash three times, ending near ~12.5% in TQQQ and ~87.5% in cash. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~34% vs ~16% for the S&P; Sharpe ~0.76; Calmar ~0.60. Bear-market cash overlay (~87.5% cash, ~12.5% in TQQQ) aims to limit losses while capturing tech rebounds—higher upside than the S&P, with higher risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
