About

A simple, equal-weight, 14-stock long-only portfolio (the Stonks basket) with no automatic rebalancing by default. It spreads capital evenly across diverse names (tech, healthcare, consumer, industrials, energy), offering broad exposure with a slow, steady approach. Rebalance would be triggered only if enabled (default is none) and a 5% drift rule would apply then.
NutHow it works
What you’re doing in plain language: 1) Pick a set of 14 stocks (the ones listed under Stonks). 2) Invest the same amount of money in each stock so that every stock has an equal share of your total capital. 3) Do not automatically buy or sell to keep those equal shares unless you decide to turn on rebalancing. The 5% corridor width is a typical threshold you would use if you wanted the system to automatically rebalance; it would trigger buying or selling when any stock’s weight drifts more than 5% from its target. Since rebalance is currently set to none, you won’t see automatic trades unless you change the setting. 4) You own individual stocks rather than an index fund or ETF; you bear the risk and rewards of each company in the list. 5) The plan is simple and easy to understand, suitable for someone who wants broad exposure without complex rules or market-timing, but it lacks dynamic risk management or optimization. 6) Keep in mind wash-sale rules if you’re trading around tax periods; the strategy itself doesn’t include tax-specific rules. 7) Sector mix is diverse (tech, healthcare, consumer, industrials, energy-related shipping, etc.) but equal weighting means none dominates purely by size.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
