About

Aggressive, daily‑rebalanced, regime‑switching strategy: rides momentum in 3x tech/semis during uptrends, and quickly hedges or rotates to Treasuries, VIX products, or inverse ETFs when markets overheat or weaken. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
It’s a traffic‑light system. If the stock market is trending up (price above its long‑term average), it buys the strongest growth funds (often 3x tech/semis). If things get “too hot,” it briefly hedges with VIX funds or parks in T‑bills/BTAL. If trend breaks or credit weakens, it flips to Treasuries or inverse ETFs. RSI here just flags “too hot/too cold.” Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample strategy offers superior risk-adjusted returns vs S&P: Sharpe ~2.05, Calmar ~9, annualized ~112% vs ~11% for SPY, with beta ~1 and active hedging, delivering big upside in uptrends while managing risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
