About

A daily, switch-on-a-dime strategy: ride strong uptrends with 3x tech/semis, hedge when markets look overheated, and go defensive (shorts, Treasuries, cash) when trends break. Uses trend and RSI “heat” to decide where to be.
NutHow it works
Each day it asks: are stocks healthy, overheated, or risk‑off? - Healthy: own the strongest fast movers (3x Nasdaq/tech/semis or a top big tech stock). - Overheated: add “fear” hedges (VIX funds) and BTAL. - Risk‑off: flip to shorts, Treasuries, the US dollar, or T‑bills. Signals use simple tools: long‑term averages (trend), and RSI (a heat gauge of recent gains/losses).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe ~2.05 vs SPY ~0.97; Calmar ~9 vs ~2—strong, risk-adjusted upside. Daily regime-switching rides uptrends with leveraged tech, and uses hedges/defense in overheated or risky markets to protect capital.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
