About

A 70/30 tactical strategy: 70% rotates into the 5 strongest big‑tech/AI names when the S&P 500 trends up, otherwise shifts to Treasuries or gold. 30% follows Bitcoin’s trend, spreading across crypto ETFs when strong, or parking in gold when weak. Rebalanced daily.
NutHow it works
- 70% Stocks: If the US market (SPY, S&P 500 ETF) is above its 50‑day average, buy the 5 strongest names from big tech/AI stocks and ETFs (e.g., NVDA, MSFT, SOXX), equal‑weighted. If not, move to safety: IEF (7–10yr US Treasuries) if rising; otherwise IAU (gold). - 30% Crypto: If the Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) has been rising, and short‑term is too, split equally into the 4 best of BTC/ETH/blockchain ETFs (IBIT, ARKB, GBTC, ETH, BLOK, BKCH, WGMI). If short‑term isn’t, hold IBIT. If Bitcoin isn’t rising, hold IAU. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample Sharpe 2.59 vs SPY 1.99; annualized return 92% vs 23%; Calmar 9.05; max drawdown 10.2% vs 5.1%. Higher risk-adjusted returns from tech/AI and crypto momentum with risk-off hedges—more diversified upside than the S&P 500, though with larger drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
