About

A rule-driven blend of stocks, energy, and commodities that rides uptrends (sometimes with leverage) and steps aside or hedges in downtrends, aiming to beat the S&P 500 while limiting big drawdowns.
NutHow it works
It’s a rules-based mix of three sleeves: US stocks, energy (oil, natural gas, clean energy), and broad commodities. It buys what’s rising (price trending up) and avoids what’s falling by rotating to cash-like T‑bills or Treasuries—or even hedges that rise when markets drop. In strong uptrends it may use 2x–3x funds; when weak, it can hedge or short. Stocks favor QQQ or top S&P names when the market is healthy.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample strategy blends stocks, energy & commodities with trend-following and hedges. It delivers stronger risk-adjusted performance (Sharpe 1.41, Calmar 2.81) and regime-aware downside protection, aiming to beat SPY on a risk-adjusted basis.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
