About

Aggressive, rules‑based swing strategy. It rides tech when stock and bond trends are friendly, and rotates to shorts, Treasuries, volatility, or T‑bills when trends break or overheat. Uses leveraged ETFs; expect big swings (high risk/high reward).
NutHow it works
It reads the trend of stocks (SPY) and long‑term US bonds (TLT) and a “heat meter” (RSI = how fast/extended a move is). - If trends are healthy: ride tech momentum (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL/UPRO). - If stocks crack or get too hot: hedge or short (SQQQ/SOXS/TECS) or hold T‑bills (BIL/TBIL/SHY). - Falling rates: own TMF; rising rates: use TMV. - Big fear spikes: use VXX.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, a regime-switching, leveraged strategy delivers ~51% annualized return vs ~21% for the S&P, with Calmar ~1.16 and Sharpe ~1.12. Higher upside and risk-adjusted edge, but larger drawdowns in stressed markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
