Each day it checks trend lines (moving averages) and how “stretched” prices are (RSI: a quick hot/cold gauge). If trends are up, it leans into growth (e.g., QQQ/TQQQ) and energy/commodities. If risk rises, it pivots to Treasuries (TMF/TMV), volatility funds (UVXY/VIXY/SVXY), or cash‑like T‑bills (BIL/SHV). MPT blends these sleeves to reduce overall risk.
