About

An active, adaptive portfolio that rides stock/tech and commodity uptrends but quickly shifts to T‑Bills, Treasuries, inverse equity, or volatility hedges when markets look overheated or weak. It uses simple trend/“heat” checks and rebalances daily; leverage/volatility ETFs appear at times.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks: 1) trend (price vs its recent average) and 2) a 0–100 “heat meter” (RSI). Uptrends → own tech/US stocks and any commodities with positive trends. If markets look overheated (high RSI) or break trend, it parks in T‑Bills or adds hedges (inverse index ETFs, VIX). Deep dips (low RSI) trigger small buy‑the‑dip entries. Bonds toggle by momentum.
CheckmarkValue prop
Adaptive strategy riding tech/commodity uptrends, hedging into Treasuries/cash when markets heat up. Out-of-sample: 7.92% annualized return, 2.41% max drawdown, Calmar 3.29—strong risk-adjusted growth and far better downside protection than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
