About

A simple daily “buy‑the‑dip” switch between consumer‑staples stocks (XLP) and long‑term U.S. Treasuries (TLT): pick the one that has fallen more over the last ~10 days (lower RSI), invest 98% there, and keep 2% in cash.
NutHow it works
Each day it compares two funds: XLP (consumer-staples stocks—groceries, household goods) and TLT (long-term U.S. Treasury bonds). It computes a 10‑day RSI, a quick gauge of recent moves: lower = it has dropped more. It buys the one with the lower RSI, putting 98% there and 2% in cash, and rechecks daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Daily dip-buy between XLP and TLT: 98% to the asset that has fallen more (lower 10-day RSI), 2% cash. Out-of-sample tests show improved downside control and competitive upside versus the S&P 500 with clean, rules-based rotations.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
