About
A very aggressive trading strategy that mainly bets on semiconductor and tech stocks, then flips into bearish, volatility, bond, gold, or cash-like positions when markets look overheated or stressed.
This strategy is an aggressive market-timing system built mostly around chip stocks and tech.
It usually tries to own the strongest area among semiconductors, big U.S. stocks, energy, or commodities. But when the market looks too euphoric or too fearful, it can quickly switch into bearish funds, volatility funds, bonds, gold, or cash-like Treasury funds.
In plain English: it chases strength in good times, but tries to duck or even profit from selloffs when warning signs appear.
Out-of-sample edge: about 37% annualized return vs 21% for the S&P, driven by chip/tech momentum with crisis hedges. Higher upside, but watch for larger drawdowns (~58%) in severe markets. A tactical alternative to buy-and-hold.
