About

Daily, all-in strategy. It watches VIXM, a fund that climbs when market fear rises. If VIXM’s 40-day heat gauge (RSI) is above 69, it flips into SPXU (a 3x inverse S&P 500 fund). Otherwise it owns the strongest of MSFT, NVDA, or XOM.
NutHow it works
Each day: compute a 40-day RSI on VIXM (a volatility/fear ETF). If RSI > 69, go 100% into SPXU (a 3x short S&P 500 fund). Else, go 100% into the single strongest (by 40-day RSI) of Microsoft (MSFT), Nvidia (NVDA), or Exxon (XOM).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample upside is stronger: ~28.5% annualized vs ~24% for the S&P. It switches to SPXU on volatility spikes and otherwise rides the top mega-cap/energy stock. Expect higher drawdowns (~44%) but greater long-run upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
