About
A daily “buy-the-dip” switch. It parks in T‑bills (BIL) most of the time and only buys a stock ETF (FWDI) the day after that ETF suffers a big one‑day drop (about −3% or worse), seeking a quick bounce.
Each day it checks yesterday’s move in FWDI (a diversified stock ETF).
- If FWDI fell more than about −3% in a day, it buys FWDI, aiming to catch a quick rebound.
- Otherwise it sits in BIL, a cash‑like T‑bill ETF. If FWDI jumped more than +1.3% in a day, it also stays in BIL.
So it’s mostly in cash, only buying FWDI right after sharp drops.
Out-of-sample Sharpe ~4.0 vs SPY ~2.7; ultra-low beta ~0.37; Calmar ~30; mostly in cash, buying FWDI only after sharp dips to chase quick rebounds—delivering superior risk-adjusted returns versus the S&P 500.
